Day 14 - July 11 - Rest Day in Drumheller

At 9am I hop in a cab with Karen, Jonathan, Jen and Leslie to see what there is to do in Drumheller. There's no way I'm getting on that bike on a rest day. We go out for breakfast and wander around a bit, noticing that there is a dinosaur sculpture on every street corner. The dinosaur theme is a little overdone, but they're a fun prop for tourists like us.

The Tyrrell Museum is worth seeing; it makes me want to watch Jurassic Park again. I spend a few hours there with Jen, Karen and Jonathan, but it isn't as relaxing as I'd like because there are so many people. We catch a cab back to the campsite and sit around for awhile drinking lemonade. Then I head out to dinner with John, Michelle, Dave, Jen, Leslie, Glenn, Aggie and Jan. The rest of the night is fairly uneventful as I'm resting up for another hard week of cycling. I'm going to bed early; we're supposed to get some rain overnight.
