Day 65 - August 31 - Little Bras D'or to Argentia  6km

I wake up at 7:15am to the sound of waves hitting the beach. I think to myself, "I'm really going to miss this tent". It has been my home for over two months now. A place to rest my aching muscles after a long day on the road. A place I can now assemble in under three minutes. I'm not sure how I will adjust to a bed again. It may take a little time.

The ferry leaves at 3:30 this afternoon, so we have all morning to take down our tents, pack our bags, clean our bikes and bike a short 6km to the terminal. We are told to meet the truck there at 1:30. We go to Wendy's for lunch and stop at the Irving for batteries. I've been having trouble with my digital camera lately. It doesn't focus, most likely stemming from overuse. It's important that I get it working for tomorrow.

We wander around the ferry looking for the bunks we reserved so we can drop our bags and change out of our bike shoes. Dinner is served a couple hours later. We join Rupica in the cafeteria and the three of us stay there most of the evening just talking. They tease me about not having my sea legs. I find it hard to walk straight without spilling whatever I'm carrying. This of course provides a source of entertainment for everyone watching. I guess I'm the only one here who isn't used to boats. We go to sleep by 11 because it's an early day tomorrow. The ferry docks at 5:30 and we have to be up and moving by then.
